In the beginning there was boredom. It's hard to meet people if you're new to town and don't know anyone. Founding members
in EOA have two things in common; we've all been stuck in a pattern of going to work, going home, watching TV, and going
to bed only to repeat the pattern the next day. Weeks would fly by and our circle of friends was growing smaller and smaller
as each would get married and disappear. Plus we all love the outdoors and socializing.
This profound sense of isolation is what motivated us to think about starting a group like this in Michigan! We talked
to out colleagues, did some research and soon Extreme Outdoor Adventures was born!
EOA is all about getting us involved in the outdoors, and if hiking isn't your thing perhaps socializing is. EOA offers
a range of events from hiking, backpacking, skydiving, overnight camping, local festivals; we're limited only by our imagination.
